I've held a variety of teaching positions since then that have enriched my abilities and experience as a teacher both privately and in the classroom. I started teaching at 11. People heard me play, and they wanted their children to learn. I found that I loved teaching and when I went to college I took the pedagogy course. I found it totally inadequate. It did not teach you how to deal with your student or their parents.
