Same year I started attending to Lyrical Singing Lessons with another very known composer and opera singer, Mario Rocha. I performed with both clinics in the capital city and many other cities around the country for years but I kept it persistent with Lyrical Singing. I received private lessons for guitar for around five to six years and then started giving them myself at the institution. I began teaching in 2001. I teach voice, piano, and didgeridoo. I have performed at multiple locations locally including the Broward Performing Arts Center and the Lincoln theater. I have taught college Theory classes and Music Appreciation classes and have my MA in music history and literature. Classes are broken down into three sections 1. breathing and body exercises 2. vocal exercises 3. repertoire and style. In the breathing and body exercises we discuss the idea of breathing for singing and proper vocal support. This is fundamental to good vocal technique and is the basis for everything that we will be working on achieving with our voice.
