I am a passionate and fun instructor who loves to work with students and share the power of storytelling through song. In 2018, I graduated from Oklahoma City University with a double Bachelor of Music degree in Music Theatre and Vocal Performance. While pursuing music at OCU, I was given several opportunities including singing with Broadway star Kelli O'Hara, workshopping with Hamilton star Sasha Hutchings and working with various artists from the Broadway shows Mean Girls, Spongebob, and Carousel. For beginner students, I start with the fundamentals of music and we work our way up to integrating repertoire that they will eventually be able to perform in recitals and shows! I am a very flexible teacher and I understand firsthand that to remain interested in learning music, a student needs to feel included in the choices regarding what they are working on. With that in mind, I like to use both repertoire that a student has brought in, and repertoire that I choose very carefully to suit a particular student's strengths and challenges. Read More

I teach the fun way by teaching the student what they would like to know by tailoring each lesson to fit there personal goals, needs and questions. My personal teaching experience began while studying in Phladelphia at teh Unviersity of the Arts. As I started my 5 year Music Education minor/clearence program, I started to adapt what I was learning and develop my own style and flow of teaching. I began tutoring my friends and fellow classmates after school in the music library on campus, teaching them compex jazz theory, ProTools/Logic DAW shortcuts and processes, piano accompaniment, intervals, inversions,  rhythmic dictation, bascally reinforcing what we learned earlier in the class.
