My teaching experience begins during the second year of my undergrad at UCF. I began teaching privately students who ranged in ages from 4 to 65. Encouraging regular practice and incorporating parent involvement are the best ways I feel to keep a younger student on track. As well as tailoring a plan that fits each students needs. My teaching experience starts even while I was in high school. I would volunteer to help the middle school band students to coach them and get them ready for competitions. I also volunteered with the Seattle Music Partners where we went into schools that lost their music program and we taught students after school as their only means of connection to this art in schools. While in college I was a co-coordinator and participant in a Music Mentor Program where we took college students and matched them with students from the local middle school in Oberlin. Read More

As time went by I wanted to pass down what they instilled in me and be apart of the wave of teachers. I first began teaching at Neighborhood Music School's Summer Jazz Camp 8 years ago. I help my younger students prepare for middle school and high school level orchestra, and my older students for college music auditions and solo pieces.
