For my beginner students, who are younger, I start off with the Faber series in the Primer levels. After progressing through the first few levels of the series, I then start to introduce solo repertoire depending on the interests of the student. For my older students, we also go through the Faber Adult Piano Adventures book, where we learn the basics of piano along with some fun pieces. All of my students can expect to participate in the hundred-day practice method, which requires practice each and everyday (even if it is just scales or review). Once they hit one hundred days, they will earn a reward within the studio. Each student will be given their own specific "Violin Diet Plan" where they will be required to practice scales, learn musical terminology, develop right and left hand technique, study etudes, and learn solo repertoire (sonatas, concertos, show pieces, etc.).
