After graduating in 2009, I volunteered for a year as a music teacher in rural Malaysia. I try to make sure students can progress at their own pace based on their own skill level and experience with the instrument. I try to instill diligence patience and not being too hard on yourself as the top priorities. I want student and teacher interactions to be casual enjoyable and fun but at the same time serious with regards to the composer's intentions in the music. My Experience goes back to my early and young age. I started to take lessons with a private instructor called Manolo Parra, a wonderful flamenco and classical guitarist. After 3 years of taking classes with him I started to teach guitar and work as his teaching aid. At the same time I participated and helped in church choirs as member and choir director making arrangements for original compositions and others.
