I always start my lessons off with vocal exercises in order to assess the status of the voice and what we need to work on, and also what progress has been made since our last session, if any. In order to keep my students interested, I like to work on repertoire that theyre interested in and that they select. I definitely suggest pieces that I think might help practice areas of their vocal technique that they would like to improve, but I also want to make sure its music that they like and want to sing. He then introduced me to bass-baritone Franco Bertacci. He studied with famous operatic singers such as Franco Corelli and Thomas LoMonaco. From there, he began to train singers, eventually teaching me. I began to study his technique, as well as continue my study in college. I enrolled in Westminster Choir College in 2012 and graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Music Degree. For singing lessons, I teach speech level voice production. We do scales and exercises to support the technical skills, and develop covers or original songs. We explore different styles if desired and can also record songs, which allows us to analyze each tapes and learn through listening to our own performance. Students of mine have participated in recitals and have written their own compositions. On top of private lessons, I was a Choral Music Instructor for the Massachusetts city, Chelsea, and its Community Youth Chorus.
